Up Date from foster mom:
Sophie and Pups are doing fairly well. It's been a struggle get enough food into Sophie for her to be able to produce enough milk for her very hungry puppies and also put on a little weight. She was extremely underweight when she came to me. and is still very thin. I have such a hard time getting my head around the fact that anyone could let this little girl go. She hasn't shown even a hint of aggression. She seems to get along with everyone, man, woman, dog or cat.
The pups are getting adventurous. They climb all over her and keep getting lost on the wrong side. I find them piled behind her frantically trying to find a nipple. Alice(#2) is bossy as can be. She's the only of the puppies that seems to get pissed off when she can't find what she wants. Bella ( the one with the white patches) is very chill. She spends her days eating and sleeping and sleeping and eating with very little complaint. Roxy (the girl with the pink nose) is quite an adventurer. She's always the first pup to get lost behind mom and the first to make her way out of the crate. Max (the smallest Boy) is sweet and snuggley. When I pick him up he wriggles his way into the nearest nook, curls up and is off to sleep. Rasputin (I'm not so sure that's really his name) is another of the great explores. Following his sister out of the crate whenever he gets the chance. the last little girl still doesn't have a name. She is pretty chill but always willing to join in on an adventure.
